This place near the Colonne di San Lorenzo makes its entrance in the guide with a nice vote. Upon entering you can choose whether to sit in the basement where the restaurant is offered, or go up a few steps and sit in the winery. From Wednesday to Saturday, starting from 18.30, here you can have a quality aperitif, which does not include a buffet, but selected whims to be accompanied by a glass of wine.
Here the nectar of Bacchus is the protagonist, with a connoisseur card that provides a rich offer by the glass and many labels (about 400) divided by type for those who want to order a bottle. Recommended by good sommeliers, we tasted two excellent regional wines, accompanied with a mixed plate of cold cuts (excellent coppa Piacentina and mortadella) and cheeses, among which a delicious Taleggio and a Vacche Rosse parmesan aged 24 months stood out.

La Dogana del Buongusto: environment
The extensive use of wood for the shelves and tables, combined with the many bottles on display, the beautiful counter and sometimes brick vaults, give warmth to the atmosphere, just as you would expect in a traditional winery.
Service: Very courteous and prepared.
