When, about ten days ago, "Moondo" alarmed his readers, describing the
weakened role of Germany president on duty for a semester of the Council, but

well for the benefit of all.

The lack of approval of a European Constitution has dramatically increased i

having to explain in retrospect what was not previously understood with words

The concrete risks that will be caused by failure to achieve remain evident

difficulties in the face of the risks faced by the planetary balance between unequal states and societies, to overcome, with great effort, the imaginable catastrophic consequences of the world's first Cold War interconnected, triggered by ideological and technological conflict between China and the USA, accompanied by those who are more than glimmers of hot war in the Mediterranean and Iran and the normalization of Hong Kong and the militarization of the South China Sea, to which Washington opposes naval military maneuvers to reaffirm its supremacy in the Oceans.

Reducing the success or otherwise of the European maneuver for survival
economic factors suggested by the different types of national sovereignty, as they were before
of the explosion of the crisis of absolute free trade, based on the defense of
supposed identities and particular interests, is no longer possible, due to the singularities
of the crisis that the planet is experiencing, indeed, experience suggests that every policy is today
influential only if it proposes solutions that accompany accommodation
immediate problems also for planetary models of development, based on values
peacefully recognized as universal, in order to reduce, before eliminating them, the

cause harm to the nations that have been least affected by the crisis, as it has
remembered Chancellor Merkel in her statements and interviews, it is a symptom of
weakness before the German electorate and it is also poverty of vision.

knowing how to accept changes as a capacity not of supine acceptance but, al
on the contrary, to enhance the optimism of the intelligence that sharpens the ability to
change points of approach to problems, with positive thinking, every time you do
makes it necessary to reinterpret reality and face the big sea with optimism
of life.

The past tense has also testified that the good is imposed from time to time
fruit of social morality, the seed of which was sown generously by men of
goodwill, evil occasionally wins. Since the times of history are a
they are different from those that measure the special watches that regulate ours
personal life, it has happened and it will happen that the spoliation of unpredictable capital, such as
the truth and the democratic contribution of the sciences to the government of the world, render
complex remediation of extreme inequalities, which make it necessary today
and the study and evolution of new decision-making processes is urgent, to enhance the
democracies that the current financial, media and communication system limits and often
manipulates.

The philosopher Jürgen Habermas, taking inspiration from the global health crisis, has
suggested in an interview with Nicola Truong, that governments must take them today
their decisions by referring to the knowledge and suggestions of the experts.

real economic technique within which democracy unfolds.

Europe will be able to participate in the revolution necessary to establish a possible life
of and on the planet, when, placing man at the center of his interests, the recovery of
inter-subjective reasons, through the dialogue between politicians, scientists and public opinion, will find a place of action commonly accepted in the acceptance of the
relationship with a new and recognized importance of law; then he will be born again
democratic social medium and communication processes, also in the model of
deliberative democracy, they will be in a position to face the hegemonic claim
of the systemic logic that currently (mal?) rules the world and that Habermas
reported as "colonization of the world of life".

The theory of communicative action, still understood as social criticism, represents a
epistemologically possible landing of thought between individual and society.
It is worth mentioning Habermas also to remember that in the past era it was him,
together with Pope Benedict XVI, the protagonist of a reflection on interrelation
between democracy and religion, which in the present era assumes a great interest
speculative, proposing the overcoming of the atavistic rift that separates religion and
secularism (Zwischen Naturalismus und Religion, 2005; trad. it. Between science and faith, 2006).

The Washington consensus, described as democracy and free market, and the
"Bejjng consensus", exemplification of authoritarianism and state capitalism,
they cannot become the insurmountable limit of a new (and cruel) division
humanity.

There is no national sovereignty capable of actively cooperating in the development of a
balanced world order because the borders of the crisis are much wider than they are
national and powerless political sovereignty is not exercised.

There are priorities that need to be addressed in the short term, among them they cannot
find place those measures that were put in place in 2008 and 2017 and that have
resulted in tax cuts for billionaires and large corporations
(2017), save Wall Street in 2008 and, today, help multinationals. Face up to
the health emergency, protect the weak and needy, provide necessary liquidity
to avoid, where failures are preventable, but not to save, in words maybe, everyone,
with the inevitable result of limiting growth making the duty to maintain
workers linked to production, not to already heavily indebted decociated enterprises -
thus helping entrepreneurs who for various reasons have not realized their business
but condemning the workers and unnecessarily indebted the tax authorities.

There are essential and not immediate priorities, such as the design of a policy, of one
community choice of solidarity, who are animators of positive energies within
Europe and lighthouse, an attractive example for the world.

That's why Moondo wrote that with this semester you get a part too
(politics) is better than nothing, provided that operational hope is left to Europe and
in the world.

We must work for a new European sovereignty, free from the old heritage of the
state domination over states and light of progress and well-being for its citizens and for
