Confirmation of vote for this restaurant located in a not very central area of Milan. Overlooking a quiet square, Manna offers a cuisine that starts from traditions without disdaining a few creative episodes both in the realization of the dishes and in the choice of names. If in the evening the menu has prices not exactly for all budgets, for lunch there is a convenient business lunch that gives the opportunity to taste a first and second course of the day.
During our visit we tasted tasty spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli pepper refined by the presence of lemon, with the pasta al dente and pleasantly whipped in a creamy and rightly spicy sauce. The pork salad is more demanding (somewhat misleading name), or pieces of pork (mostly fatty parts) cooked masterfully and served with tasty caramelized onions. Too bad for the choice of bread: sandwiches that did not do justice to the shoe, accompanied on request by good extra virgin olive oil, however, presented without any explanation and in a small anonymous white ceramic pot.

Manna: environment
Divided into two rooms, one at the entrance with the counter on the right entering and another at the end of the corridor, near the kitchen, it has an essential but well-kept furnishings, with well-set tables and the right mise en place.
Service: It is personally supervised by the friendly chef (apparently gruff) and one of his collaborators.
