A safe meeting place for those who live or work in the area, this address that boasts a long history behind it. The offer is wide and includes a nice range of cakes and mignons, perfect to honor a dinner invitation. Our test, however, concerned the leavened products for breakfast: the positive opinion of the past edition remains, even if we have noticed a slight decrease, hopefully episodic, in the quality of the croissants, preferring the simple one to the other filled with a cream that we remembered less gelatinous. From the cafeteria corner a cappuccino well balanced in the milk-coffee ratio and with the rightly thick foam; the coffee is also good, of medium persistence.
Barberini Pastry: environment
Classic and welcoming, with the long counter dominating the whole, in front of which there are some tables for on-site consumption, to which others are added on the sidewalk in front. We suggest raising your head to look at the beautiful brick vaulted ceilings.
Service: Kind and able to dispose of the significant influx of customers in the early hours of the day.
