The easiest thing to get there is to take the subway, it is so difficult to find a parking space in the super busy Via Tuscolana: the result, however, is well worth the "sacrifice", given the scenario that opens up to the eyes of fans of good wine in Rome South and surroundings, as soon as you enter the door of the restaurant Bomprezzo.
Enoteca Bomprezzi, the products
Tall and elegant wooden shelves that house, in an orderly manner, almost a thousand labels representing the great national enography. Founded in the years of the economic boom, this wine shop has gradually established itself, especially among the residents, as a specific point of reference and has managed to reconcile its business and economy needs with the needs of customers: in fact, it is possible find both the bottles of the most famous Italian companies, obviously not at discount prices, and labels from minor producers at attractive prices in relation to the quality offered. The owners also own the Montecappone farm, about 70 hectares near Jesi, which produces a Verdicchio - winner of important awards in the sector - which can be purchased in a format suitable for family consumption.
The wine shop also offers a nice variety of foreign wines, mostly French, and an important selection of Champagne: the latter occupies a large and scenographic space that does not fail to fascinate; there are also many spirits where the proposals of Cognac, calvados, whiskey and rum stand out for variety. For some time, the gastronomic department has been expanding, offering a small but well-kept offer of dry pasta and ready-made sauces, together with pickles and other canned products, all handcrafted; the space reserved for sweets is small but equally well-kept.
