Whenever I hear of a woman being killed, raped, abused by the worst enemy like the man who says he loves her, or the stranger who thinks he can kill to get what he wants, I think of me and all of us. Who has never had or experienced something beyond respect and love? I have a list that I have never told, for every taste of the news, including the fact that my father was violent with my mother as long as they were together. In short, I have seen, experienced and escaped violence.
At the time of this photo shoot made by the well-known photographer Alessandro D'urso and then published in a well-known magazine, it concerned an investigation into women a few years ago. We were at the beginning, when women still did not always find the courage to confess the violence suffered, yet many were already dying or in any case suffering. Today there is an increase in cases of violence against women, both because of the #lookdown but also because the #women now that they are stronger and are in command and rebel against stereotypes of machismo.
However, this is not accepted by some men who turn into despicable beings, pay killer to kill and I don't know which of the two figures is the worst! The raptus do not exist for me.
112 victims in 2020 and already 20 women killed since the beginning of the year. This is not a day of celebration but of memory to remember how much the woman holds the world, whether you want it or not and it is not a banality.
