Sunday 1 December 2019, from 10 to 18, #ViaLibera returns the initiative dedicated to pedestrians and cyclists which provides for the closure of 8 kilometers of roads, reserved for pedestrians and cyclists.
A day dedicated to a walk in the city to admire the beauty of the capital in total serenity, with the streets free from the chaotic chaos of cars and traffic. The initiative is promoted by Roma Capitale, and coincides with the free admission every first Sunday of the month to the Civic Museums for residents of Rome and the Metropolitan City.
The roads involved in the #ViaLibera initiative are: via Cola di Rienzo, via del Corso, via Tiburtina (San Lorenzo), via dei Fori Imperiali and largo Corrado Ricci, piazza Venezia, via di S. Gregorio, viale Manzoni. The pedestrian path will be equipped with information points.
On this day dedicated to pedestrians and cyclists, cultural events and initiatives are also scheduled to promote cycling and a new cultural approach to mobility.
