The ART&TUR International Tourism Film Festival

The ART&TUR International Tourism Film Festival will take place between the 26th and 29th of October in Aveiro, Portugal and has 34 members of an International Jury composed of tourism professionals from all over the world.

Since its 1st edition in Barcelos, in 2008, the ART&TUR Festival has effectively fulfilled its mission of making known to the world the best audiovisual tourism productions carried out in Portugal and in the world.

As a forum for sharing experiences, the ART&TUR Festival has gained high international recognition, thanks to the quality and quantity of films that it annually distinguishes, as well as its integration in a worldwide network of similar festivals: the CIFFT (International Committee of Film Festivals of Tourism) which annually elects the best tourism film in the world, among all the films that travel the international circuit of 14 festivals.

This year the beautiful city of Aveiro, known as the Venice of Portugal, will welcome the public who travel this year to ART&TUR in Portugal. Every year the participants take part in the program and are also invited to participate in the experiences organized by the venue.

With 4 round tables and a series of presentations on the best international films in competition, ART&TUR presents a vast list of events where current topics will be developed with the participation of experts on the topic of tourism and its impact on todays world.

On the day of the awards ceremony, the actress Sónia Balacó will have the honors of presenter and we will all be rewarded for her charisma by presenting the big winners of this edition.
